Rosalyn Hogg is a partner with MEP Business Counsel. Her practice focuses on business law across a broad spectrum of industries, with a particular interest in the technology sector and emerging markets. She is experienced in the structuring and formation of private corporations, sophisticated M&A, private equity investments, corporate finance transactions, and a wide array of corporate and commercial matters.

Rosalyn is a trusted advisor to a varied range of clients, including venture capitalists, angel or strategic investors, early-stage entrepreneurs, start-ups and growth companies, and not-for-profit organizations. She takes pride in her clients relying on her like in-house counsel to assist on both day-to-day matters, corporate governance, and extraordinary transactions. Rosalyn also advises professional corporations (dental practices, engineering firms, architecture firms, physiotherapy clinics, etc.) on commercial matters, profession-specific governance and related M&A transactions. Prior to joining MEP Business Counsel, Rosalyn articled at a national law firm in Vancouver.

Rosalyn serves on the Board of Directors for both NatureKids BC (Young Naturalists’ Club of BC Society), a charity devoted to environmental education and nature connection for children, and Wavefront Centre for Communication Accessibility (Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing), a charity that works to reduce hearing-related communication barriers for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Outside of the office, Rosalyn is an avid traveler who builds her travel itineraries around the local must-try restaurants and joints – ask her about the best street meat in Bali (it’s under a tent in a parking lot!) or the most amazing cacio e pepe you’ll ever have in Rome. She also bakes the world’s greatest chocolate chip cookies and enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, and two very wrinkly bulldogs, Bubba and Gump.
