Jessica Jacobson is an Associate in MEP’s Entertainment Law Group. She assists film, television and media clients with M&A transactions and the development, production, financing and distribution of live action and animated film and television productions.

Jessica’s entertainment law practice is informed by her background in corporate/commercial and employment law, as well as her pre-law experience working in the entertainment and technology spaces. While completing her J.D. at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, Jessica volunteered with the Vancouver International Film Festival and the Artist Legal Outreach Clinic, a summary legal advice clinic serving low-income artists and non-profit arts organizations.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys traveling, live music and going to the Rio Theatre for movies and grilled cheese.
