Michael’s practice is primarily focused on mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance. He also brings valuable experience in energy/infrastructure, particularly in the area of renewable energy, securities and general corporate/commercial matters.
Michael advises public and private companies and underwriters in Canadian and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, financings, securities offerings and regulatory compliance. He also routinely assists clients with corporate governance issues.

Prior to joining MEP Business Counsel, Michael practiced business law as an associate in the Vancouver office of McCarthy Tetrault LLP. Michael attended law school at the University of Victoria and is a member of the Vancouver Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of British Columbia. He also speaks Mandarin.
